• Incomplete Design System:
The existing design system lacked consistency and didn't fully support the expanding needs of the platform as new features were being added.
• Navigation Issues:
The sidebar was cluttered and not intuitive, causing difficulties for users in finding key features and navigating efficiently.
• New Flows and Pages Needed:
The product required additional pages and user flows to support new functionalities being introduced.
• Enhance the Design System:
Refine and expand the existing design system to ensure consistency, improve visual clarity, and support new features.
• Redesign the Sidebar:
Create a more intuitive and organized sidebar that improves navigation and accessibility to key features.
• Add New Flows and Pages:
Design new user flows and pages that align with the updated design system, ensuring seamless integration and a consistent user experience.
During this stage, I created a service blueprint, conducted in-depth interviews with users and stakeholders, and developed a user persona to better understand their needs, pain points, and workflows.
Created prototypes for the new sidebar, additional flows, and pages, ensuring they were aligned with the updated design system.Collaborated with the development team to ensure feasibility and smooth implementation of new components and navigation elements.
The result of my work at Zenik includes enhancing the user experience and increasing platform efficiency by optimizing the existing design system and adding new functional flows and pages. I redesigned the sidebar to improve navigation and accessibility, developed and implemented new components within the design system, ensuring its consistency and adaptability for future updates. These changes have led to increased user satisfaction, faster platform interactions, and reduced time required to complete key tasks.
